“A mythical bird that never dies, the phoenix flies far ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant space. It represents our capacity for vision, for collecting sensory information about our environment and the events unfolding within it. The phoenix, with its great beauty, creates intense excitement and deathless inspiration.”

What is MechaMetropolis?
Over the last five years this site has had more ups and downs than a Hotel elevator, there has been huge amounts of time when due to various reasons I couldn’t update the site as often as I would like. I’m hoping that I can change that and start updating fairly regularly again. MechaMetropolis was initially made just so I could tinker with web design but quickly shifted into an outlet for my interest in Anime and Asian pop culture.
With that in mind I have decided to return MechaMetropolis back to what it was initially intended for. So hopefully over the next few weeks you will see some new posts and articles covering all aspects of Asian pop culture; Anime, Manga, Movies, Music, Video games and much more.
Hopefully you will check back again with us soon for more interesting (hopefully) articles.
Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!
Thumbs up, and keep it going!
Cheers
Christian
